The topics contain a balance of theoretical and practical discussions on Synchronism software's main features and functionality. Course Objective: After completion of this course, you will be able to:
- Design a solution using Synchronism software
- Perform basic troubleshooting of Synchronism
- Perform basic Synchronism administration
- Understand the steps needed to optimally configure physical storage paths for highest performance
- Provision virtual disks to application servers using Fibre Channel and iSCSI protocols
- Improve virtual disk write performance
- Configure Synchronism options, including Mirroring, TimeMark, and Replication
- Understand the concept of the TimeMark snapshot area and the Replication u-map
- Install and configure DynaPath to handle multipathing and fault tolerance of Fibre Channel paths to the application servers
- Configure Synchronism Active-Active Failover to provide high availability for enterprise SAN environments
